In these two projects, I not only had the opportunity to develop materials for this winter capsule, but also designed two new shapes for Havaianas as a product designer. It marked the first time Havaianas ventured into using fleece and plush fabrics, pioneering the brand's inaugural winter campaign. This capsule emerged during the pandemic year when most of the population was working from home, thus both products were tailored for a different occasion. It represented a departure for Havaianas, as it was the first time the brand hadn't focused on products related to summer or beach occasions. Nevertheless, it proved to be a huge success, maintaining the brand's colorful spirit while prioritizing comfort as its cornerstone.
